Navigation within the Sage Abra HRMS is simplified by dividing tasks into Actions, Processes, Analysis, Reports, Rules, Details, and Query.
Actions: Actions guide you through the steps necessary to accomplish a task, and make entering information easy. Adding a new employee, Assigning a leave of absence, Creating an on demand check, Deleting a requisition, Recording a Pay Change are all examples of Actions. Processes: Processes within Abra refer to the procedures you follow to accomplish a given task. Accrue Time, Change Attendance Plans, Print Checks, Import Calculations, Run Trial Payroll are all examples of Processes. Analysis: Analyses within Abra offer methods to examine your data critically. The Absences by Hour Analysis, Turnover Analysis, and Performance to Longevity Analysis are all examples. Reports: Reports are the printed or on screen results of your data queries. Sage Abra HRMS literally provides hundreds of standard reports and the capability for an unlimited number of custom reports. Rules: Abra Rules encompass the setup options and tables which enable you to optimize Sage Abra HRMS for your organization. Deduction Codes, Earnings Code, Attendance Plan Setup, and Absence Reason Codes are all examples of Abra Rules. Details: When you perform an action, Sage Abra HRMS provides one or more details pages so you can enter or view information on those pages and complete your task. Each step in an action corresponds to a details page. Some actions require many steps and, therefore, many details pages. For example, when you perform the Record New Hire action, you are presented with several steps with corresponding details pages. Query: Abra Secure Query is a desktop query and reporting tool that enables you to quickly and easily generate or modify requests for specific information. For example, sometimes you just need answers in a hurry to prepare for a meeting or to help make projections. |

Employee Demographics

The Demographics page allows you to enter basic employee information, including the employee’s name, address, telephone number and personal data if you are not using the Abra HR and/or Payroll applications. You can also enter an e-mail address as well as attach a photograph to the employee’s record.

Four miscellaneous fields enable you to record additional class information. A free-form Notes field allow you to enter additional information about the class.
