| Automatic Update | Elect to update all journals and registers, unattended, at a user-specified date and time. An Automatic Update Log file report lists each file that was selected for Automatic Update. | System Security | Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200 employ a multi level security model. Access to data may be restricted by company code, by module, and by menu option/folder within modules. User codes and passwords can be assigned to individual user. Additionally, roles-based security may be used. Users are assigned to one or more roles such as 'supervisor' or 'data entry'. Roles control the specific tasks each user can access. Individual modules may offer their security function such as Payroll security by department code and customer credit limit passwords. Using Custom Office, security can be refined down to the field level. Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200 provides a very effective security model for most companies. | Fax Forms | Fax Form Definition provides an interface from within the software to create and maintain faxable Crystal forms. Fax-enabled forms, such as those created for invoices and orders, can be set up for a specific user ID and company code.
